Hand-guided embroidery: Master embroiderers guide each stitch through the machine by hand, so every line runs straight, every curve is smooth and the spacing stays even.
Recognized workshop: The embroidery workshop is officially recognized for its traditional artistry.
Rayon embroidery thread: It is more durable than silk thread for this technique, with a softer, richer sheen than polyester.

The Fabric

6-momme silk organza: Featherlight and sheer, with rich, clear color.
Silk-acetate lining: A fabric usually saved for outer layers, chosen because it was the only one that matched this soft, clear-sky mint. It holds its shape better and feels softer against the skin than standard acetate-polyester linings.
Sheer layered hem: The organza extends past the lining, so the wisteria seems to float.

Dry clean only — recommended for metallic jacquard fabrics to preserve the woven thread detail and prevent dulling or fraying of the metallic yarns

How to measure

Clothing

Bust — Measure around the fullest part.
Waist — Measure around the natural waistline.
Hips — Feet together, measure around the fullest part.
Inside leg — Measure from the top of the inside leg at the crotch to the ankle bone.

Footwear

Stand on a level floor with the back of your heels against a straight edge or wall.

Place a ruler flat on the floor, straight along the inside of your foot, from your heel to your toes.
Lay a flat edge across the tip of your longest toe. Measure from the wall to that edge. Measure both feet and use the longer one.

Lingerie

Bust — Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
Underbust — Measure directly underneath the bust.
Waist — For corsets, use the waist row in the body measurements table.

Rings

Wrap a strip of paper around the finger and mark where it overlaps.
Measure that length in millimetres. Use the larger finger of the hand you will wear the ring on.

Hats

Measure around the head, just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead.
Keep the tape level and snug. That circumference is your hat size.

Gloves

Measure around the widest part of your palm, excluding the thumb.
Keep the hand relaxed and the tape flat.

Belts

Measure where the belt will sit, usually the waist or high hip.
Or measure a belt you already own, from the buckle to the hole you use.

Tights

Use your usual clothing size as the starting point.
If you are between sizes, compare your height and hip with the body measurements table.
